Growing Australian digital marketing agency seeking an experienced Web Designer / Web Developer / Hosting to step in for a 3-month maternity leave cover. This role is ideal for a motivated, reliable self-starter who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident managing websites end-to-end — from design through to hosting and migrations.

You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining WordPress websites, managing hosting environments (including Kinsta), and handling domain and website migrations with confidence. Pay Out Bonus:
You will be eligible for a completion bonus of PHP 10,000 upon successfully remaining engaged for the full three + (3) month contract term. This bonus will be paid at the end of the contract period, provided the Contractor completes the entire duration of the engagement and meets the agreed responsibilities throughout the term.

Key Responsibilities
As our Website Developer & Designer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining client websites. You’ll work from detailed briefs, manage ongoing website updates, and ensure websites are secure, performant, and hosted correctly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing new WordPress websites from a brief
- Building websites using Divi and/or premium WordPress themes
- Customising theme elements to meet brand and functional requirements
- Completing website updates, changes, and optimisations within agreed timeframes
- Ensuring all websites are fully responsive and optimised for all devices, including mobile
- Managing website hosting environments (including Kinsta)
- Performing domain management tasks, including DNS updates and domain migrations
- Handling website and hosting migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
- Troubleshooting website, plugin, theme, and hosting-related issues
- Completing monthly hosting maintenance, including backups, plugin updates, theme updates, and functionality checks
- Managing workflow by reviewing and actioning tasks in Trello, including coordinating outsourced work where required
- Assisting with ad hoc web and design projects as needed
- Adhering to internal cost controls relating to plugins, themes, and hosting tools
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Fluent spoken and written English

- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proven experience working with WordPress, including theme customisation and site management
- Experience managing website hosting environments (including performance, backups, and updates)
- Solid understanding of domain management and DNS configuration
- Experience with website and domain migrations, including moving sites between hosting providers
- Confidence working on live websites and resolving hosting-related issues
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Web Developer, with strong WordPress experience
- Your own laptop or desktop computer with reliable, high-speed internet access
