About The Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Web/Visual Designer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning the end-to-end design and development of our marketing website, landing pages, and digital experiences. This role requires a creative professional with a strong eye for detail, a passion for modern design principles, and expertise in creating responsive, mobile-first layouts. You will collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, and product teams to translate marketing goals and brand strategies into visually compelling, user-centered designs that drive engagement and conversions. Your work will include designing high-quality, production-ready pages directly in Webflow, developing smooth UI animations using Rive, and creating micro-interactions that enhance user experience. The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence OpusClip’s visual storytelling, work in a fast-paced environment, and potentially transition into a full-time position based on performance and mutual fit.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in web and visual design, with a strong online portfolio showcasing live sites and animations.
  • 2+ years of experience creating UI animations and motion design.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Rive, and Webflow.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Excellent sense of layout, typography, hierarchy, and modern design principles.
  • Experience balancing creativity with business goals and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus: Experience with video editing or motion design tools such as After Effects or Premiere.

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete design process for the company’s marketing website, landing pages, and digital assets, ensuring alignment with brand standards and marketing objectives.
  • Create responsive, mobile-first layouts and interactions using Figma and Rive to deliver engaging user experiences.
  • Build high-quality, production-ready pages directly in Webflow, ensuring optimal performance and visual fidelity.
  • Design and implement smooth UI animations and micro-interactions that enhance user engagement and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop conversion-optimized landing pages for campaigns, product launches, and special events.
  • Maintain visual and brand consistency across all digital experiences, adhering to established branding guidelines.
  • Translate complex concepts into visually compelling designs that resonate with target audiences.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of digital assets.
  • Participate in team reviews, provide constructive feedback, and refine designs based on stakeholder input and user testing.
