Overview
The Web Designer & Multimedia Specialist plays a key role in creating, managing, and maintaining the digital presence of TBO and its client brands. This position combines technical web design expertise with creative multimedia production to deliver visually compelling and performance-driven digital content. The ideal candidate is skilled in WordPress management, graphic design, video editing, and emerging AI design tools.
Key Responsibilities
Website Design & Management
- Manage and maintain multiple WordPress websites, ensuring consistent performance, responsiveness, and branding.
- Implement design and layout updates while optimizing user experience and accessibility.
- Upload and format multimedia content, ensuring SEO best practices and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot web issues and coordinate with IT or external vendors when necessary.
Graphic & Multimedia Creation
- Design digital assets including website banners, social media visuals, email templates, and marketing graphics.
- Produce short-form videos, animations, and simple motion graphics for campaigns or internal use.
- Edit and enhance multimedia content for consistency across digital platforms.
AI & Digital Tools Integration
- Utilize AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Runway, Midjourney, Canva AI) to improve design efficiency.
- Experiment with emerging technologies and techniques to enhance visual storytelling.
Brand Consistency & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing and Content teams to develop aligned digital visuals that reflect TBO’s brand identity.
- Support internal and client campaigns with creative assets that drive engagement and conversion.
- Maintain an organized digital asset library for easy access and version control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Web Design, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in web design and digital content creation.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress backend management (themes, plugins, updates).
- Familiar with Canva, Figma, or other modern design platforms.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and basic HTML/CSS.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge in SEO optimization and web analytics.
- Experience designing for email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp, Unbounce).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and video scripting.
- Adaptability to new technologies and evolving design trends.
