Job Overview
We are hiring a
Web Designer Assistant
to support website design, development, and
SEO optimization
tasks. This role is ideal for a junior designer with a strong eye for design, hands-on WordPress experience, and working knowledge of SEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and updating websites using WordPress (Elementor)
- Support UI/UX design tasks including layout, spacing, typography, and responsiveness
- Upload, format, and optimize website content
- Perform on-page SEO tasks (meta titles, descriptions, H1–H3, image alt tags, internal linking)
- Assist with SEO-friendly page structure and keyword placement
- Optimize images and page speed (basic level)
- Make minor HTML/CSS edits when required
- Test websites across devices and browsers
- Assist in website maintenance, updates, and backups
Mandatory Requirements
- Must share a design portfolio (live websites, Behance, Dribbble, or Google Drive links)
- Hands-on experience with WordPress + Elementor
- Basic to intermediate SEO knowledge (on-page SEO is mandatory)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Shopify experience
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Search Console, RankMath, Yoast, Ahrefs – basic level)
