This project is a 'match made in heaven' for someone seeking an exciting opportunity to engage their talents and contribute to positive impact in the world.
You'll be working with a small, committed team of (volunteer) web developers helping to
Update 2 already existing websites
and build a Raisley fund-raising site. With supporter events already booked, we are in a race to get everything ready! We need our Web design consultations to start immediately with a project timeline of 2 weeks.
We'll all be 'hi5ing' at the end! Plus we provide references, a space to share your story on the website and an online gathering with Vanuatu's national women's leader, Mary Jack.
Background:
The Agency of Women (agencyofwomen.org) is a social purpose platform providing people of talent the opportunity to leverage their superpowers into projects that empower the social and change-leadership capacities of under-served women.
Our pilot project is based in Vanuatu where we are supporting Elder and grass-roots women's advocate, Mary Jack, build their nations first grass-roots women's representative body: Mitingar Women and Girls Association (mitingar.org)
The Logic Driving the Agency of Women?
To increase our collective capacity for peace and sustainability, we need to increase our individual capacity for cooperation and collaboration. To increase this (and any) capacity, we need to exercise it. The Agency of Women is designed to serve as a 'collaboration gym' where people, planet and professionals all benefit through engage in collaborative impact projects together.
Moving Forward:
We have partnered with the Global Development Group who are providing Mitingar with tax deductable donation serves so that we can raise the funds Mary and the women need to build their national organisation for uplifting the women of Vanuatu.
Our next step is to launch a fund-raising campaign to fund the next three years of Mitingar's organisational infrastructure development. We already have websites up and running. We just need help to design a few more additional pages for each site so we are ready for the fundraising to begin!

All or some of the following including experience with Wordpress / Elementer web design plus; creative, artistic, theatrical web design; conceptual understandings of the value of inner development driving outer world change; advertising / marketing industry experience; community building experience... and an awesomely great human!
