Scooter Your Way is currently in the development and pre-funding stage, focused on building our platform, website, and mobile app experience.

This is a founding team opportunity, beginning as a part-time, equity/deferred-compensation role during the early development phase and transitioning to a paid full-time position once funding is secured.

At this stage:

• Team members contribute approximately 10 hours per week (about 40 hours per month) while helping build the company.
• All contributed hours will be logged and paid back in full once external funding is secured.
• After funding, this position transitions to a full-time salaried role with compensation between $50,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience, contribution, and company growth.

🧩 The Role: Website Design & Development Lead

We’re seeking a talented Website Designer/Developer to lead the creation of our company website and collaborate on the early stages of our mobile app design.

You’ll play a central role in shaping our brand identity, digital experience, and user engagement, ensuring our online presence reflects the innovation and quality behind Scooter Your Way.

You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO and other founding members to bring creative concepts to life, prepare for funding rounds, and lay the foundation for our public launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Scooter Your Way website using modern web tools (Webflow, WordPress, React, or similar).
• Build a responsive, user-friendly, and visually engaging site that aligns with our brand vision.
• Collaborate on app UI/UX concepts to ensure cross-platform consistency.
• Develop key website features such as investor pages, contact forms, and company updates.
• Optimize for SEO, performance, and accessibility.
• Contribute creative ideas to make our digital presence unique and compelling.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a creative, driven professional who thrives in startup environments and loves building from the ground up.

You should have:

• 3+ years of experience in web design and front-end or full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Webflow, WordPress, React, or similar frameworks.
• Strong design skills using Figma, Adobe XD, or comparable UI/UX tools.
• A clean, modern design aesthetic and passion for user experience.
• A startup mindset — adaptable, proactive, and ready to wear multiple hats.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Compensation, Hours & Growth

• Hours: ~10 hours per week (40 hours per month) during the pre-funding phase.
• Compensation: Logged hours will be fully back-paid once funding is secured.
• Post-Funding Salary: $50,000–$100,000 per year (based on experience and contribution).
• Growth Opportunity: Role transitions to full-time (40+ hours/week) with salary, benefits, and potential leadership opportunities.
• Location: 100% remote — open to global candidates.
