Web Designer

Web Designer – Join Our Creative Team! (Remote, Part-Time 20–30 hrs/week)

We are a small, design-focused company seeking a skilled Web Designer to help shape the visual direction of our digital products and client-facing experiences. This is a remote, part-time role (approximately 20–30 hours per week), with a preference for candidates located near the Boise, Idaho area.

About Us

Our core product is a job board service platform supporting a range of client organizations. You’ll work on both the client-facing job board designs and the core platform’s design system, while also contributing to marketing materials and brand assets. Most of your work will involve expert-level CSS and HTML, along with basic JavaScript to enhance interactivity and front-end performance.

Why You’ll Value This Role

Creative Influence: Play a key role in shaping visual standards and translating ideas into polished, effective interfaces.

Project Variety: Contribute to a wide range of design efforts—from client job boards to internal tools and marketing initiatives.

Flexible Environment: Work remotely with a part-time schedule that supports a healthy work–life balance.

We’re Looking for Someone Who

• Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in CSS and HTML, and at least basic proficiency in JavaScript.

• Has strong visual and interaction design sensibilities, with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and usability.

• Enjoys working independently while maintaining consistent communication and timely delivery.

• Is proactive in improving design systems and attentive to quality and consistency.

• Can provide examples of prior work — please include a link to your portfolio, personal website, or relevant design samples.

About the Opportunity

We are hiring a paid freelance Web Designer for an initial project (20–30 hours per week). If the collaboration is successful and a strong fit, this could evolve into a long-term, ongoing role with broader creative responsibility.

If you’re a thoughtful, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative but flexible remote environment, we’d love to hear from you.
