JOB OVERVIEW
The Web Designer is a 2-month project-based role responsible for designing and developing the company website or web applications on a project basis. This role involves collaborating with internal team designer, Head of Client Success, and stakeholders to deliver functional, responsive, and high-quality web solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, test, and deploy websites and web applications based on project requirements.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional web pages.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern web technologies.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and backend systems when required.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across different browsers.
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Maintain documentation for code, processes, and system updates.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and updates with the project team.
WORK ARRANGEMENT & DELIVERABLES
- The Contractor is responsible for their own equipment and internet connection.
- Work schedule may be flexible but must meet agreed project deadline.
- Functional and tested web features or full websites
- Source code and documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in web development (portfolio or previous projects).
- Experience with WordPress and Oxygen builder
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
