Role Brief: Video Editor & PowerPoint Designer

Scope of Work

• Time Commitment: 4 hours per day

• Deliverables:

• 1–2 edited videos per week (short-form and long-form)

• PowerPoint decks (business-style, professional polish)

• Infographics and visual assets for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok

• Animations and motion graphics for social content

Core Responsibilities

• Edit videos with captions, transitions, effects, and brand consistency.

• Produce engaging short-form clips tailored for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

• Create visual graphics, infographics, and animations that fit social platform best practices.

• Design clean, professional PowerPoint decks for client and internal use.

• Repurpose long-form content (webinars, interviews, talks) into short-form snippets.

• Ensure on-time delivery and maintain quality across all assets.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Canva design (modern layouts, business-ready decks).

• Graphic design ability for infographics and social posts.

• Familiarity with short-form video platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work project-based and independently.

• Experience with AI-related editing tools such as Descript, CapCut AI Opus, Canva or similar.

• Creativity to suggest new content formats and visual ideas.

• Prior work with LinkedIn-first content strategies.

• Direct reporting to me.

• Steady weekly cadence of 1–2 videos, decks, and supporting visuals.

• Scope to expand role based on performance and output.

Work From Home Requirements:

• Minimum 10 MBPS internet connection.
• Backup internet connection (postpaid or prepaid).
• Laptop or desktop with updated operating systems (at least Core i5 or higher).
• Backup laptop or desktop (at least Core i5 or higher).
• Headset with microphone for clear communication.
• Willingness to use Time Doctor for monitoring.
• Maintain a noise-free work environment during working hours.
• Must not be currently employed full-time elsewhere.
