Studio Tak / Campfire
Studio Tak is a creative technology studio building tools and systems for modern marketing teams. Our flagship product, Campfire, helps brands and agencies produce and review large volumes of creative work quickly and intelligently.
We're looking for a Visual Communication Designer to help shape how our ideas, products, and insights are expressed visually.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, editorial design, and product storytelling. You'll help translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visuals across our website, articles, social media, and product marketing.
What you’ll work on
You’ll help build the visual language for Studio Tak and Campfire across a variety of surfaces:
• Article graphics and editorial visuals
• Diagrams explaining concepts, workflows, and frameworks
• Social media graphics and visual storytelling
• Website graphics and landing page elements
• Slide decks and product marketing visuals
• Visual frameworks that help explain how Campfire works
Collaboration
You’ll work closely with the founder to translate ideas and narratives into visual form.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong visual judgment and the ability to turn ideas into clear, thoughtful design.
Strong candidates typically demonstrate:
• Excellent layout and composition skills
• Strong typography discipline
• The ability to create clean, readable visual hierarchies
• Experience designing diagrams, frameworks, or editorial graphics
• The ability to maintain consistency across a system of designs
• Comfort collaborating with other designers and providing feedback
Bonus experience
Not required, but helpful:
• Editorial or publication design experience
• Startup or product company experience
• Motion design or simple animation
• Experience working with 3D assets or icon systems
• Experience designing visual systems for content or thought leadership
Tools
Most of the work will be done in tools like:
• Figma
• Illustrator / Photoshop
• Motion tools (optional)

Initial Project (Design Sprint)
We’ll begin with a short initial design sprint focused on establishing the visual communication style for Studio Tak and Campfire.
Initial projects may include:
• Developing a social media visual style system
• Defining an article and diagram graphic style
• Creating 1–2 website graphics that explain Campfire concepts
• Establishing basic visual guidelines for layout and typography
Initial design sprint compensation:
₱40,000 project fee
If the collaboration is a strong fit, we’re open to continuing with ongoing freelance work, either per-project or on a retainer basis.
