We’re seeking an experienced
Senior UX Designer
with strong UI and visual design expertise to help craft intuitive, high-performing ecommerce experiences. This fully remote role operates on
EST
hours.

• ongoing contract
• $55-65/hr range

Responsibilities:

• Lead UX strategy, research, and design for complex ecommerce flows across web and mobile.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Develop and maintain design systems and visual guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into elegant user experiences.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze data, and iterate on designs to optimize conversion and engagement.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX design experience with a focus on ecommerce or other high-transaction environments.
• Proven ability to produce both low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI).
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to advocate for user needs and design decisions.
• Availability to work EST hours while remote.

Nice to Have

• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) to collaborate effectively with developers.
