We are seeking a Product Designer (S3, Contract) to support discovery‑led exploration focused on identifying net‑new, differentiating opportunities for our mobile native experience, with a specific emphasis on Millennial and Gen Z investors. This role is highly conceptual and future‑focused. The designer will help envision and communicate what next‑generation investing experiences could be, rather than delivering production‑ready designs.
Responsibilities:
Primary Objective
Help the team and senior leaders align around a compelling future vision for differentiated mobile experiences by:
- Exploring unmet and emerging needs of Millennial and Gen Z investors.
- Generating novel, forward-looking experience concepts.
- Translating ideas into high-impact prototypes and narratives that influence strategy and roadmap decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and co-lead discovery-oriented design exploration within ambiguous problem spaces.
- Generate and iterate on early-stage experience concepts (net-new ideas, not incremental improvements).
- Partner closely with a dedicated UX researcher, consuming research insights and contributing to collaborative discovery.
- Rapidly prototype concepts (often high-fidelity) to communicate and sell ideas, not to hand off to engineering.
- Create clear, compelling narratives and decks for periodic senior-leader readouts.
How the Role Operates
- Works in a co-led discovery model with UX leadership, research, and product partners.
- Comfortable receiving direction and framing from leaders when priorities or constraints are set.
- Operates effectively in high ambiguity and helps shape the problem space.
Qualifications:
- Conceptual thinking and future-state experience design.
- Framing ambiguous problem spaces.
- Rapid prototyping to explore and communicate ideas.
- Storytelling and narrative development, especially for senior stakeholders.

- Early-stage experience concepts and opportunity areas.
- High-fidelity prototypes designed to communicate vision.
- Narrative decks and storytelling artifacts for leadership alignment.
