We are looking for a UX Designer:

B2B contractor

Fully remote

200 Daily rate

Objective:

Design intuitive and user-centered interfaces for an internal decision making tool, translating user research and product strategy into high impact designs that simplify complex scientific data.

Responsibilities
:

• Design and prototype user interfaces that support intuitive interaction with complex data and models.

• Create wireframes, low/high-fidelity prototypes, and final UI mockups.

• Translate user journeys into digital touchpoints and screen flows.

• Collaborate with the Design Researcher to incorporate research insights into UI/UX decisions.

• Work closely with the Product Manager and Engineering team to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.

• Facilitate design workshops and iterate based on feedback from CMRE stakeholders.

Deliverables:

• User journey wireframes

• Low-fidelity prototypes for concept testing

• High-fidelity designs for MVP

•Interaction design documentation

• Style guides and component libraries (if required)

• Feedback synthesis from design validation sessions

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in UX design with a focus on complex or data-heavy applications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating B2B or enterprise design experience

• Experience designing dashboards and analytical tools

• Ability to visualize scientific data in clear, actionable ways

• Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills
