About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate UX Designer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to craft engaging, intuitive experiences for our Cancer and Expert Second Opinion services. Your primary responsibility will be translating user needs into compelling designs that enhance usability and satisfaction across our mobile and web platforms. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products by creating prototypes, conducting research, and validating design concepts through various UX artifacts. Your work will directly impact the Member experience, ensuring it is seamless, accessible, and aligned with our mission to improve health outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Design, you will bring your expertise to a dynamic environment focused on innovation and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience designing high-quality applications
• Experience working within the healthcare industry
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, FigmaMake, and Claude
• Excellent research skills, including conducting contextual inquiries and usability testing
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively
• Knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory
• Experience in building and contributing to design systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with a bias for action, ownership, and the ability to succeed in ambiguity
• Empathy-driven leadership and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Design and validate new user experiences through mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts
• Create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes leveraging AI to guide product development for mobile and web applications
• Conduct discovery research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design solutions
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to assess feasibility and align designs with product strategy
• Translate user feedback and research findings into refined, user-centered designs
• Incorporate visual design elements and contribute to maintaining a cohesive design system
• Promote a positive team culture by fostering optimism, resilience, and persistence
• Stay updated with industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and outcomes
