Role Description

This is a
full-time remote position
for a
User Experience (UX) Designer
based in India.

As a UX Designer at Helptag, you’ll be responsible for understanding user needs and transforming them into engaging, functional, and delightful digital experiences.

You will conduct user research, apply design thinking principles, create user flows and visual mockups, and develop interactive prototypes.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including product managers, developers, and other designers — to continuously improve usability and drive product innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to understand pain points and opportunities.
  • Translate insights into intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with product goals.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
  • Contribute to design system development and maintain brand consistency.
  • Advocate for user-centered design and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Design Thinking and User Research
  • Proven experience in User Experience (UX) and Visual Design
  • Skilled in Prototyping and creating Wireframes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design , Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) , or a related field
  • Prior experience in a tech or SaaS environment is a plus
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of UX and visual design projects
