WHAT THE CLIENT DOES?
A cloud-based software company that provides customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. It helps businesses manage customer interactions, sales, marketing, service, and analytics through a suite of tools.
Overview
The UX designer will design experiences (pages, modules, components) for our Admin, Developer, and Architecture sites.
You will leverage design systems to design accessible user flows, page patterns, molecules, and components that help our users be successful with their jobs-to-be-done. You’ll integrate user research into the process to ensure quality and excellence. You’ll use your solid understanding of design tools to bring experiences to life through prototypes and concepts, which will drive alignment with peers and leadership. You’ll develop cross-functional relationships with brand, marketing, authoring, accessibility, and engineering, encouraging collaboration and leading to high quality solutions.
You’ll join a team with a diverse set of UX skills and disciplines. Responsibilities
Work closely with product marketing managers and other stakeholders to understand their goals and facilitate the user-centered design process to reach them.
Communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders, using presentations, reviews, and documentation.
Generate detailed experience design concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, guidelines, and documentation.
Serve as a bridge connecting UX, design, copy, experimentation, research, and authoring.
Promote and educate others on interface guidelines and design patterns.
Promote a self service operating model by supporting the documentation of our design system.
Get feedback on designs via critique with peers.
Create ethical and inclusive designs for all users. Encourage product and engineering management to prioritize inclusive features and bug fixes
Annotate design documentation to ensure accessible interactions
Experience/Skills Required
3-5 years of experience designing and delivering websites for large organizations from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team
Deep understanding of user-centered design and systems thinking. The ability to step back and see a project’s larger ecosystem, with a focus on solutions that improve not just one feature but the entire user flow.
Storytelling and prototyping skills to present your solutions to key partners and leadership
Communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships
Internal compass that points toward ethics and equality, and the conviction to speak up when we veer off course
Experience using analytics and user research to drive decisions
Experience using, and contributing to, design systems
Experience developing web experiences that are global in reach, universal in design, and designed for users of multiple languages and abilities
Solid knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, along with an ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge
Possesses knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 standards and applies them across all designs.
Familiarity with inclusive design
Demonstrated familiarity creating production ready design documentation
