About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead User Experience Designer to join our remote team, primarily supporting our Lending and Credit Product Management division. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in reimagining and optimizing the end-to-end digital lending experience used by thousands of innovative companies across the United States. Your primary focus will be on designing intuitive, user-centered solutions that enhance the portfolio management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and platform complexities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers, to develop high-quality UX/UI deliverables that drive efficient business processes and improve client satisfaction. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of digital lending at First Citizens Bank, making a tangible impact on how clients and associates manage credit and lending activities in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in digital product design or
- High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years of relevant experience (preferred 8-10 years)
- Proficiency working with the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating service design deliverables such as service blueprints
- Extensive experience in UX/UI design, including human-centered design principles, flows, prototypes, and process maps
- Deep understanding of user research methodologies, including personas, interviews, heuristics, and data integration
- Experience working within B2B SaaS environments, especially in highly-regulated industries
- Expertise in Figma for creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present concepts and design rationale effectively
- Strong collaboration skills, facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders across teams
Responsibilities
- Own the UX design process for end-to-end user experiences within the nCino platform, utilizing Salesforce Lightning Design System
- Create service blueprints, wireframes, user journeys, dashboards, and screen flows to deliver comprehensive design solutions
- Document and analyze the client experience, business processes, and platform utilization to identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather insights and validate design concepts
- Translate research findings into actionable design deliverables that enhance user experience and meet business goals
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives in lending and credit management
- Communicate design decisions and service solutions clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding
- Guide and participate in design discussions, advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices in Design Thinking
