Position: Traffic Planner
Job Purpose:
Production of traffic management plans and services that comply with traffic management legislation and that meet the requirements of our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Liaise with in-house planners to establish the specific requirements of traffic management plans.
The production of traffic guidance schemes, traffic management plans and traffic control plans in accordance with client specific requirements and in accordance with traffic management guidelines.
Other duties as determined by the Planning and Projects Manager to facilitate the organizational requirements of the company.
Compliance with the company Business Management System.
Conduct appropriate transport/traffic surveys and interviews, and process data results.
Analyze and interpret data gathered from statistics, surveys and transport studies.
Liaise with clients on plan and permit requirements.
Planning approval from Project Managers, Councils & Road Authorities.
Manage traffic plan variations, re-submissions and amendments.
Coordinate project Road Safety Audits (RSA) when necessary.
Attach all relevant documentation to application and job packs for all works (planning and operational).
Will support projects across the states of Oregon and Washington

Expertise in traffic control planning for Oregon and Washington is required
