UI/UX Web Designer

About Us

We are a growing group of companies specializing in the Industrial B2B sector. Our marketing team is focused on delivering a digital experience that reflects our technical expertise, reliability, and ease of doing business. We are looking for a passionate and experienced UI/UX Designer to be the driving force behind the user experience strategy for both new and existing websites across our industrial brands.

The Role

As our dedicated UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating professional, functional, and intuitive user interfaces and experiences across our portfolio of B2B websites. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring our complex technical information is presented clearly, efficiently, and with the utmost credibility to engineering, procurement, and operations professionals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial UI/UX Strategy & Design Execution

  • Function-First Design: Lead the design process for corporate and e-commerce websites, prioritizing clarity, speed, and logical information architecture over decorative design elements, fitting the industrial B2B user's needs.
  • Complex Data Presentation: Focus on designing interfaces for challenging B2B tasks, such as product configuration tools, technical documentation libraries, complex catalog navigation, and login/account management portals.
  • Website Upgrades & Optimization: Identify, design, and implement experience upgrades to improve crucial B2B metrics, such as lead generation form completion, catalog downloads, and request-for-quote (RFQ) submissions.
  • Cross-Brand Consistency: Establish a coherent design system to ensure a unified and trustworthy brand presence across all industrial websites.

2. User Research & Information Flow

  • Professional User Focus: Conduct research (e.g., stakeholder interviews, analyzing professional user journeys) to understand the specific pain points and needs of engineers, purchasing managers, and technical specialists.
  • A/B Testing Support: Design test variations aimed at optimizing conversion pathways for technical users.
  • Accessibility & Standards: Ensure all designs meet modern web standards and accessibility guidelines, maintaining a professional and compliant online presence.

3. Collaboration & Communication

  • Web Developer: Work hand-in-hand with our Web Developer to translate designs into high-quality, functional websites, providing clear specifications and supporting the QA process until successful deployment.
  • Marketing Manager: Collaborate closely to align design projects with overall marketing strategy , brand guidelines, and business priorities across all brands.
  • Data Analyst: Utilize performance insights and user behavior data provided by the analyst (e.g., heatmaps, funnel drops, A/B test results) to validate design choices and prioritize optimization opportunities.
  • Content Creator: Partner on structuring and formatting technical and informational content to ensure it is highly scannable and digestible for professional users, recommending optimal placement of CTAs and supporting visuals.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing designs for technical, industrial, or B2B platforms . Designs focused purely on consumer apps or highly aesthetic lifestyle brands are less relevant.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma is preferred ).
  • B2B Design Aptitude: Proven ability to simplify complex data sets and lengthy processes into functional, clean interfaces.
  • Collaboration with Dev Teams: Solid understanding of how design translates to front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience handing off assets and specs to developers.
  • Data-Informed Design: Experience leveraging analytical data and user research to inform and validate design decisions.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with industrial nomenclature and professional standards.
  • Experience with motion design/micro-interactions that enhance usability without distracting professional users.
