This is a full-time remote role for a UI/UX Designer individual contributor at Nexlance. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating design mockups, developing visual designs, and building prototypes. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate user requirements, illustrating design ideas, and utilizing front-end development skills to implement design solutions. Please note that this is an unpaid position until funding is secured (up to 1 year).

Qualifications

• Experience with Mockups, Visual Design, and Prototyping
• Proficiency in User Experience Design (UED)
• Front-End Development skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
