About The Role
We are seeking a world-class Motion Designer to join our dynamic tech department. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and elevating how motion graphics and animations are integrated across our brand, marketing initiatives, and product experiences. Your work will sit at the intersection of storytelling, systems thinking, and design craft, giving you the opportunity to influence how motion enhances our visual language and user interactions. You will be responsible for end-to-end motion design—from conceptualization and research-driven narratives to execution and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role demands a strategic thinker who treats motion as a core design discipline rather than mere decoration, ensuring every animation adds clarity, polish, and purpose to our communications and interfaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional motion design experience or equivalent body of work
• Expert-level mastery of Adobe After Effects
• Proficiency with modern, web-centric motion tools such as Rive, Blender (or equivalent 3D workflows), and Lottie/realtime motion pipelines
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating high production value, conceptual thinking, brand sensibility, and UI or interaction-driven motion (a plus)
• Strong understanding of motion principles, typography, layout, and visual systems
• Experience collaborating with product teams and working within design systems
• Comfort working across different timelines—from weeks-long explorations to same-day turnarounds

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold the standard for motion quality across all brand, marketing, and digital experiences
• Lead large-scale motion projects, including concepting, researching, prototyping, and refining until the work feels cohesive and impactful
• Execute high-velocity motion work for social media, campaigns, and product launches without compromising on craft
• Design scalable motion systems and patterns that are consistent across web and product interfaces
• Collaborate closely with product designers and engineers to shape motion behavior in UI elements such as micro-interactions, transitions, and feedback states
• Translate complex concepts and abstract ideas into clear, elegant motion narratives that enhance user understanding and engagement
• Introduce and advocate for improved tools, workflows, and standards within the motion design discipline
• Champion motion as a strategic tool to enhance brand perception, user experience, and product functionality
