We are seeking a
UI/UX & User Experience Design (UED) Specialist Intern
who is passionate about
creating human-centered digital experiences
. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how thousands of users will interact with a modern ride-hailing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Apply User Experience Design (UED) principles to enhance usability and accessibility across all app functions.
• Conduct user research, testing, and feedback analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual design mockups using Figma or Adobe XD .
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and brand consistency.
• Continuously iterate on designs to improve user satisfaction and interaction flow .
• Contribute creative and strategic ideas that support Lobon’s mission to redefine digital mobility experiences .

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, User Experience Design (UED), Graphic Design, Computer Science , or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in Figma , Adobe XD , and familiarity with other tools (Sketch, Illustrator, or Miro are assets).
• Strong understanding of UED principles , user-centered design processes , and accessibility standards .
• Knowledge of color theory, typography, responsive design, and layout composition .
• Ability to conduct user research, create personas, and design user journeys .
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with ride-hailing, fintech, or mobility-based app design is an advantage.
• Open to recent graduates and international applicants passionate about digital product design.

Compensation & Work Terms (Ontario Labour Standards)

• Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hour (CAD) , based on qualifications and project performance.
• Work Hours: 30–40 hours per week (flexible schedule).
• Overtime: Compensated according to Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) .
• Work Model: Remote-first; may transition to onsite work in Canada upon performance review and immigration eligibility (for non-Canadian applicants).
• Employment Type: Temporary Internship with pathway to full-time, permanent employment .
