We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to help improve the user experience and visual design of our growing platform.

Role Overview

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging interfaces for the MyThorneAI platform. This role focuses on improving how students, educators, and administrators interact with the software.

You will work closely with our CEO, software development team, and product team to design new features, improve usability, and enhance the overall user experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesUX Design

• Design intuitive user flows and interaction patterns
• Create wireframes and user journey maps
• Improve accessibility for diverse learners
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback
• Optimize platform navigation and structure

UI Design

• Design modern, clean interface layouts
• Create high-quality UI components and design systems
• Ensure visual consistency across the platform
• Design dashboards, student interfaces, and admin tools
• Develop mobile-friendly and responsive layouts

Product Collaboration

• Work closely with the software development team to implement designs
• Translate product ideas into functional interface designs
• Participate in weekly product and design meetings
• Assist in improving the overall user experience of the platform

Tools We Use

Candidates should be comfortable using:

• Figma
• Adobe XD (optional)
• Sketch (optional)
• Notion / Project management tools
• Slack for internal communication

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in UX/UI design
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI work
• Experience designing web applications or SaaS platforms
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience designing education technology (EdTech) platforms
• Experience working with software developers
• Familiarity with accessibility design standards
• Experience designing dashboard interfaces
