About The Role
Keeper Security is seeking a talented, creative, and visionary UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of our products and services by creating intuitive and transformative digital experiences across various platforms. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global team. Candidates residing near our Chicago headquarters may also opt for a hybrid work schedule. As a UX/UI Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to develop user-centered designs that make complex cybersecurity features accessible and engaging. Your work will directly influence how users protect their digital lives, making cybersecurity more human, accessible, and empowering.
Qualifications
Proven track record of at least 3 years in UX/UI design roles, with a portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design principlesBachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent experienceProficiency in designing, prototyping, and presenting using FigmaExperience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvementsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating and advocating for design decisions effectivelyStrong understanding of responsive design principles for multiple devices and platforms (web, desktop, mobile, tablet)Ability to solve problems, adapt to changing requirements, and learn complex solutions quicklyA passion for creating elegant, impactful user experiences with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders—to define user requirements, project goals, visual concepts, and overall experienceLead the end-to-end design process, from initial concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and final UI implementation, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experienceConduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights into user behavior and preferences, integrating findings into design strategiesCreate user personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts to communicate user needs effectively and guide developmentDevelop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency, scalability, and high-quality design across all products and platformsStay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, advocating for their adoption within the teamLeverage and evolve Keeper’s design system and brand guidelines to maintain visual consistency across all digital propertiesDesign responsive layouts optimized for web, desktop, mobile, and tablet devices, delivering a seamless user experience
