About The Role
Grow Your Staff is currently seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team supporting a UK-based client. This role is pivotal in enhancing the user experience and performance of the client’s website, primarily focusing on eCommerce and D2C platforms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of user behavior, and the ability to translate business requirements into compelling digital experiences. As a remote, part-time position, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact user engagement and conversion rates. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with marketing and development teams to craft intuitive, visually appealing, and conversion-optimized website interfaces that meet the evolving needs of users and business objectives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within eCommerce or D2C sectors.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) principles and user behavior analytics.
• Experience working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms (preferred).
• Experience in healthcare, dental, or wellness sectors is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing website designs, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.

Responsibilities

• Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for various website pages and features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Enhance UX across key areas such as the homepage, product pages, checkout process, and subscription flows to improve engagement and conversion.
• Collaborate with marketing and development teams to implement conversion-focused design improvements that align with business goals.
• Identify friction points within the user journey through data analysis and suggest effective, data-driven solutions.
• Conduct UX audits and usability testing to identify areas for optimization and implement iterative improvements.
• Maintain consistency in design language and branding across all digital touchpoints to ensure a cohesive user experience.
• Work closely with developers to facilitate the smooth and accurate implementation of designs, providing necessary assets and specifications.
• Support the creation and design of landing pages for marketing campaigns and promotions to maximize campaign effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the quality of work.
