UI UX Designer

About The Company
Naya was co-founded by Vivek and Saad at Harvard after more than a decade of navigating the complexities of the design process. Backed by some of the world's leading investors, Naya has developed a comprehensive platform that consolidates the entire digital workflow into a single, unified environment. This platform serves as a centralized hub where brainstorms, 2D drawings, 3D models, spreadsheets, presentations, videos, and over 150 integrations and file types can coexist, enabling seamless collaboration, organization, sharing, and presentation. Naya's innovative approach aims to streamline the creative process, fostering greater efficiency and innovation in design teams worldwide.

With Naya's design journey centralized in one digital home, teams are empowered to generate 2D concepts, 3D models, and presentations rapidly, enhancing creativity at the front end of the design process. Additionally, the platform provides valuable insights related to estimation, manufacturing, and value engineering, helping teams save time and reduce costs during the back end of the project. This holistic approach supports creative teams at leading organizations such as Google, MillerKnoll, and Adidas, enabling them to iterate more quickly, collaborate more effectively, and deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.

About The Role
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Visual Designer to join our innovative team at Naya. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex ideas, features, and updates into compelling visual narratives that resonate with our users and stakeholders. Your work will encompass creating engaging visuals for social media campaigns, product highlights, presentation decks, and internal communications, ensuring that every visual element aligns with Naya’s brand identity and enhances user engagement.

As a key member of our creative team, you will define and evolve Naya’s visual expression through typography, graphics, motion, and tone. You will design micro-campaigns that highlight new features and innovations, experimenting with fresh approaches to inspire users and drive engagement. Your ability to gather and incorporate feedback from users, teammates, and industry experts will be crucial to refining your designs and ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional goals.

The role requires navigating ambiguity by breaking down complex processes, identifying core problems, and devising strategic solutions. You will own the end-to-end design process, from initial scope definition and low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity visuals and detailed handoff specifications. Your keen eye for pixel perfection and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that all visual elements are refined and cohesive, contributing to a seamless user experience. Additionally, you will craft compelling internal stories through visual storytelling, articulating a clear vision and fostering alignment across teams.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design, product design, and/or animation, with formal training or education in these areas. You should have between 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably within fast-paced startup environments that demand agility and innovation. A robust portfolio demonstrating your skills in visual storytelling, UI/UX design, and branding is essential.

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms is required. Experience with motion design and animation will be considered a bonus. You should have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, visual hierarchy, and design systems. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are vital for success in this role.
