🌍 About Fund Flow OS

Fund Flow OS is the all-in-one AI operating system for raising, managing, and deploying capital. Our mission is to #DiversifyWallStreet by equipping underestimated fund managers, private lenders, and real estate operators with enterprise-grade tools that streamline investor management, fund launches, and compliance workflows. We’re building what spreadsheets and generic CRMs can’t: an AI-native CRM and investor OS for 200,000+ U.S. operators underserved by existing software.

🎯 Role: UI/UX Designer Intern

You’ll collaborate with founders, product, and engineering to design usable, beautiful, and consistent product experiences. You’ll own flows end-to-end—from discovery to pixel-perfect specs—and help evolve our design system so designs and code stay in lockstep. Most work will be in Figma (components, variants, prototypes) and/or UXPin (including UXPin Merge for code-based components).

🔧 What You’ll Work On

  • Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes (investor dashboards, deal flows, data rooms).
  • Build and maintain a design system (tokens, components, patterns) that maps 1:1 to our React/Next.js library.
  • Define interaction specs, states, and motion; prototype in Figma/UXPin.
  • Partner with engineers for accurate implementation (handoff with components, tokens, redlines).
  • Run quick user tests/feedback sessions and iterate based on insights.
  • Document patterns (empty states, errors, loading, accessibility).
  • Collaborate in sprint ceremonies; iterate quickly in a startup environment.

🌟 What You’ll Gain

  • Startup experience: Ship real features in a fast, resourceful team.
  • Mentorship: Regular feedback from founders and senior designers/engineers.
  • Design systems exposure: Tokens, components, and code-linked design (UXPin Merge / Storybook).
  • Product thinking: Data-heavy fintech UX where clarity and trust matter.
  • Portfolio value: Shipped flows, components, and a documented system you can showcase.

✅ Requirements

  • Proficiency with Figma (auto-layout, variants, prototyping) and/or UXPin.
  • Portfolio showing end-to-end process: research → wireframes → visuals → rationale.
  • Solid grasp of layout, hierarchy, typography, color, and accessibility (WCAG basics).
  • Ability to create clear specs for engineering (states, responsiveness).
  • Strong communication, curiosity, and comfort with feedback/iteration.

💡 Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with design tokens and design systems; familiarity with Tailwind/CSS variables.
  • Exposure to UXPin Merge or Storybook-driven workflows (designing with real React components).
  • Comfort with light user research (interviews, usability tests).
  • Interest in fintech, private markets, or real estate.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard UI patterns.

📌 Details

  • Compensation: Unpaid (educational internship with mentorship & portfolio-building value).
  • Time Commitment: 10–20 hours/week, flexible schedule.
  • Start Date: Rolling basis.
  • Tools: Figma, UXPin, FigJam/Miro, Notion, Linear/Jira, Loom; optional Storybook exposure.
