About the Opportunity

We are looking for a UI Designer to join an international game development team. This is a hands-on role where you will design user interfaces for games with a minimalist approach. You will work directly with developers, artists, and project managers in an Agile environment. This is an unpaid volunteer role, but it offers a clear chance of becoming a paid position depending on your progress and profile. If hired, you will receive growth opportunities within the team and participate in other company projects.

Requirements

  • Understanding of UI design principles with a focus on minimalist aesthetics for games.
  • Proficiency in UI prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro.
  • Understanding of how to implement UI concepts within a game engine (Godot or Unity).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology for remote teams.

Desirable Skills

  • Intermediate English B1/B2 or greater (able to hold conversations) – this is a long-term international project.
  • Experience with Discord for daily communication.
  • Experience with GitHub (especially GitHub Projects) for task management.
  • Knowledge of Godot game engine for direct UI implementation.
