We’re looking for a systems-oriented
Transportation Designer
to shape future mobility experiences across urban and regional contexts. This role is ideal for someone who understands the intersection of infrastructure, user experience, and policy—and can translate complex transportation challenges into human-centred, scalable design solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Design end-to-end transportation and mobility experiences across public, private, and multimodal systems
- Map user journeys across transit networks, mobility services, and infrastructure touchpoints
- Conduct research to understand commuter behaviours, accessibility needs, and system pain points
- Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, product teams, and policymakers
- Develop concepts, service models, and design frameworks for mobility solutions
- Create journey maps, system diagrams, prototypes, and scenario models
- Identify gaps between infrastructure, operations, and user experience
- Contribute to sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready transportation strategies

What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, Urban Planning, Service Design, or related field
- Experience in mobility, transportation, urban systems, or public sector design projects
- Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, journey mapping, and real-world impact
- Understanding of public transport systems, mobility services, or urban infrastructure
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams (design, engineering, policy, etc.)
- Strong research, problem-solving, and visual communication skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, GIS tools, or similar
- Interest in sustainability, accessibility, and future mobility trends
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Based in Australia with full working rights
