Job Description – Designer Intern (Rugs & Carpets)

Paashe, an upcoming luxury rug label, is looking for a Designer Intern to support the development of rug and carpet designs. The role involves creating design concepts, building storylines and themes for collections, and assisting in visual development during the brand’s pre-launch phase.

Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts for rugs and carpets
• Create storylines, themes, and moodboards for collections
• Support in preparing digital artworks and visuals
• Research trends, motifs, colours, and global design inspirations
• Work closely with the founder/design team to refine ideas

Requirements:

• Interest in textiles, interiors, or surface design
• Basic skills in Photoshop/Illustrator/Procreate
• Creative thinking, good aesthetic sense, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take feedback constructively
