🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of telecommunications networks, including fibre optic, wireless, and broadband infrastructure
- Prepare design drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Support network planning, routing, and capacity analysis
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to deliver projects
- Use design and GIS tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS) to produce layouts and plans
- Ensure designs comply with Australian standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Participate in site assessments and feasibility studies where required
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects welcome)
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications systems (fibre, RF, network infrastructure)
- Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, or similar software
- Understanding of networking fundamentals is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
