Staff Product Designer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape and elevate customer experiences across digital financial products. In this role, you will drive end-to-end design initiatives, collaborating closely with product, engineering, data science, and marketing teams to deliver intuitive, polished, and impactful user experiences. You will influence product strategy, create scalable design systems, and mentor other designers, ensuring design quality across multiple platforms. Accountabilities

Lead design initiatives for embedded financial experiences, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needsCollaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and external partners to deliver seamless and innovative solutionsCreate and maintain scalable design systems, frameworks, and processes that empower teams and improve design efficiencyMentor and coach senior and mid-level designers, raising the overall design quality across the organizationApply user-centered design principles, leveraging research, analytics, and experimentation to continuously improve experiencesAdvocate for design excellence while balancing shipping immediate solutions with long-term scalability

Requirements

7+ years of product design experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutionsBachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experienceExceptional visual, interaction, and UX design skills, with experience creating polished, high-impact digital experiencesStrong product sense and ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraintsExperience influencing product strategy and aligning senior stakeholders across multiple initiativesSystems thinking: ability to create frameworks, scalable design systems, and ways of working that enhance team efficiencyProficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, Notion)Collaborative, adaptable, and data-informed with a willingness to take calculated design risks
