SR. UI/UX Designer (REMOTE)

You will be supporting the development, scalability and reliability of a state-of-the-art platform for the Clinical Trials and Healthcare industry. This international organization is working with pharmaceutical companies in over 60 countries and experiencing dynamic growth as the known leader in the industry.

REMOTE WITHIN THE US

Translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive, elegant, and accessible interfaces, you are in a critical role shaping the user experience and visual design of web-based products that delight customers and drive engagement.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and developers to understand requirements, user goals, and technical constraints
  • Lead the design process from discovery through delivery, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual design
  • Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure product consistency and scalability
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and validate design decisions
  • Translate complex workflows into clear, user-friendly interfaces that reduce friction and support efficiency
  • Monitor design trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve product usability and aesthetics
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining design integrity
  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance, critiques, and professional development support
  • Contribute to the growth and maturity of the design function within the product and engineering organization

  • Hire and train staff
  • Schedule, organize, and assign projects to members of the team
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and coaching as needed
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment that attracts and retains the best talent
  • Contribute to hiring and onboarding processes for design staff

BACKGROUND

  • Senior level experience in UI/UX design for web-based software
  • Proven experience designing complex applications and workflows
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility in design decisions
  • Strong proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing expertise in interaction design, visual design, and design systems
  • Ability to explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Prior experience within regulated industries is highly desirable
