Job Title: Senior Structural Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer

 with a strong background in 
heavy industrial and power plant projects

. This role demands a self-motivated professional with over 20 years of design experience, proficient in producing high-quality 
3D models

, 
detailed drawings

, and coordinating across disciplines to deliver constructible and cost-effective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive  3D models

 and 
design documentation

 for:
- Structural steel systems
- Reinforced concrete structures
- Ductwork and supporting systems (as needed)
- Create 
conceptual layouts

 and support early-phase design planning
- Conduct 
technical reviews

 of vendor shop drawings (experience in this area is advantageous)
- Prepare detailed 
material quantity takeoffs

 and support 
cost estimation efforts
- Collaborate closely with 
engineering teams

, 
clients

, and 
contractors

 to ensure design alignment and constructability
- Participate in 
on-site walkdowns

 to verify field conditions and support construction planning

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 20+ years

 of relevant design experience in 
heavy industrial or power plant

 environments
- Strong proficiency in 
AutoCAD
- Demonstrated expertise in 
3D modeling

 and 
drawing generation
- Experience with 
Advance Steel

 (preferred but not required)
- Solid background in 
steel and concrete detailing
- Strong 
technical communication skills

, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate drawing notes
- Able to work effectively both 
independently

 and within 
multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to develop positive relationships with 
plant personnel
