Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Solar PV Designer. The Solar PV Designer will create and optimize solar photovoltaic system designs, analyze site data, and prepare layouts and electrical schematics. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards, coordinating with installation teams, and reviewing the performance of installed systems. Collaboration with sales and engineering teams to refine system recommendations is an integral part of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Solar PV system design and understanding of electrical schematics
• Experience with solar energy software tools and the ability to analyze site and shading data
• Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards relevant to solar energy systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with expertise in project management
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field preferred
• Certifications in solar installation or design (e.g., NABCEP) are a plus
