The main responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Applying user-centred design methods to ensure the users’ needs, goals, and workflow are the focus of each software solution.
- Working collaboratively with the Development team to brainstorm and design innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Conducting user research, identifying pain points, developing personas and user workflows
- Defining user stories and writing design documents, such as architectural plans
- Using paper and/or functional prototypes to bring design concepts to life, and supporting iterative improvement of software usability.
- Joining and/or taking on the testing responsibility when needed to ensure the highest of quality and accuracy
- Helping the team interpret and understand users' feedback, and providing input for design decisions based on that feedback
- Provide guidance to all clients by troubleshooting, researching, escalating (as appropriate) and resolving customer software and system problems.
- Must be responsible for advising users on more appropriate ways of using the Application(s) in line with the client’s business processes.
- Working collaboratively with customer subject matter experts to design innovative solutions to complex problems and transform them into software requirements that can be adapted into functional specifications; defining user stories and creating design specifications, and using mockups or functional prototypes to bring design concepts to life, allowing the customer to envision the proposed change before coding begins.
- Participating in customer support activities related to standard or custom software functionality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
