Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Designer to architect and design software components, services, and database structures for our loyalty system.

You will be responsible for defining scalable and efficient software designs, ensuring seamless integration between system components, and collaborating with development teams to implement best practices.

If you have strong technical expertise in software architecture, microservices, and database design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable and modular software components for the loyalty system.
• Define and optimize backend services and APIs for performance and reliability.
• Architect database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are properly implemented.
• Ensure system designs align with security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Document technical specifications and architectural decisions.
• Participate in squad meetings to align on design decisions and ensure seamless integration.
• Engage in business meetings to understand requirements and refine software designs

Preferred candidate profile

• At least 3-5 years of experience in software design and architecture, preferably in distributed systems.
• Experience with software engineering and design architecture.
• Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture, API design, and database modeling.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like C# and JavaScript.
• Preferably to have a sound knowledge of React library.
• Strong knowledge of SQL database design, including Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ability to design efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Good understanding of best practices regarding system and web services security measures.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
