Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand visibility, foster community engagement, and drive digital marketing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management, content creation, and digital analytics to effectively promote our brand and products. The Social Media Specialist will collaborate closely with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create compelling content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Utilize tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Cloud) for scheduling and content editing.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and customer feedback; respond proactively to comments and messages.
  • Optimize content for SEO by conducting keyword research and applying best practices for visibility.
  • Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics and other tools to measure campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Engage in relationship management by interacting with followers, influencers, and partners to foster community growth.
  • Coordinate with public relations teams to ensure consistent messaging during campaigns or brand crises.
  • Proofread all content before publication to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, digital marketing tools, and platform algorithms to keep strategies current.

Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles; experience with social listening tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software is required.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or Buffer (application).
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, web analytics tools, and keyword research techniques.
  • Experience managing Facebook Advertising campaigns or other paid social media advertising is preferred.
  • Skills in graphic design, photography, video editing, and branding are highly desirable.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in content creation.
  • Ability to analyze data insights for continuous improvement of social media strategies.
