Role Responsibilities
- Develop detailed set and exhibit designs based on scripts, research findings, budgets, and location requirements.
- Prepare rough drafts and precise scale drawings including floor plans and construction layouts using AutoCAD.
- Create preliminary renderings and layout proposals specifying materials, construction techniques, lighting, and special effects.
- Interpret scripts and project briefs to determine spatial and visual design requirements.
- Present designs for stakeholder review and refine concepts based on feedback and project constraints.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the design process from concept to execution.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD for technical drawings and design visualization.
- Strong creative ability combined with technical expertise in scenic or exhibit design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret scripts, research insights, and translate them into design concepts.
- Experience balancing creative design with budgets, timelines, and logistical constraints.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong self-management in a remote environment.
- Experience preparing construction documentation including diagrams and material specifications.
