About Us

Our client, a UK Tech company, seeks a Senior Front-End UI/UX Designer to create user-friendly interfaces for their online marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-friendly, visually engaging interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and translate insights into design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver designs that meet both business goals and user needs.
• Ensure consistency of brand guidelines and design systems across platforms.
• Optimize UI for responsiveness, accessibility, and performance.
• Stay current with design and UX best practices, emerging tools, and international market trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design with a strong front-end focus.
• Proven experience designing for international audiences ( multi-market platforms preferred).
• Prior work in online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills with design and prototyping tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects, ideally including global or marketplace-related work.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of analytics and A/B testing to inform design decisions.
• Exposure to agile/scrum development processes.
• Understanding of cultural differences in UX design.
