About the Role

Uber’s Autonomous Mobility & Delivery (AM&D) team is redefining how people and goods move through the world using self-driving technology. As a Contract Product Designer focused on Supply Management and Fleet Tools, you’ll help shape the internal platforms that power Uber’s autonomous operations including from managing vehicle supply and dispatching fleets to remotely assisting vehicles in need of human oversight, and optimizing performance and uptime across markets and autonomy partners.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, and operations to design scalable, intuitive systems that make complex workflows simple and actionable. This role involves significant 0 to 1 product design work, where you’ll help define and build entirely new systems that enable Uber to safely and efficiently scale autonomous operations.

What You’ll Do:

-Design and refine tools that support supply management, fleet operations, and autonomy control across Uber’s AV ecosystem.

-Translate operational requirements and data flows into clear, actionable user experiences.

-Work closely with PMs and engineers to align design intent with technical capabilities.

-Conduct user research and usability testing with internal operators and partner teams.

-Create design systems and patterns that ensure consistency and scalability across internal tools.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in Product Design (or equivalent practical experience).

-Strong portfolio demonstrating work on complex internal tools or data-heavy systems.

-Expertise with Figma and standard design/prototyping workflows.

-Solid understanding of information architecture and interaction design for enterprise or operational interfaces.
