Senior Mobile App Designer

Entie is an AI assistant for couples that helps strengthen relationships via daily guidance, a Couple Health Score, cycle-aware insights, shared intentions, smart chats, and personalization. iOS first; Android to follow.

We’re looking for a senior mobile product designer to own the end-to-end design of our app—from fast discovery and prototyping to a robust visual system and developer-friendly handoff. You should be fluent in platform patterns and comfortable making decisions that move metrics.

Tasks

  • Run a quick discovery: goals, JTBD, user journeys, competitive scan (e.g., Paired, Flo).
  • Define IA, user flows, and wireframes for core journeys (onboarding, Couple Health Score, chats, intentions, paywall/subscription, profile).
  • Create the visual language and design system (color, type, iconography, components, states, tokens).
  • Build clickable Figma prototypes for rapid validation.
  • Design motion/micro-interactions (transitions, empty/error/loading states; Lottie if useful).
  • Prepare store assets (App Store / Google Play screenshots, feature banner).
  • Ensure a clean handoff: Auto Layout, Variants, tokens/styles, specs, behavior notes.
  • Plan for localization (EN/RU, string length), accessibility (Dynamic Type, contrast), and dark mode.
  • Design per platform: produce native-feeling iOS and Android variants where it matters (navigation, gestures, components), while keeping a shared brand system

Requirements

  • 5+ years in mobile product design; at least 2 shipped iOS and 1 shipped Android apps you can talk through.
  • Mastery of Figma (Auto Layout, Variants, Interactive Components, tokens, prototyping).
  • Deep knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and Android Material Design 3, including platform-specific navigation, gestures, typography, elevation, and component behavior.
  • Experience with subscriptions/paywalls, onboarding funnels, and retention mechanics.
  • Hypothesis-driven mindset with metric awareness (onboarding → paywall conversion, activation, retention).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and developer-friendly handoff.

- Nice to have

  • Background in health / mental wellbeing / relationship products.
  • App Store / Google Play asset best practices.
  • UX writing / microcopy (EN/RU).
  • Basic understanding of iOS/SwiftUI & Android constraints.

- Terms

  • Engagement: project-based (estimate 6–10 weeks in sprints; flexible).
  • Remote, time zone alignment: Europe/London (flexible).
  • NDA and Contract
