We’re known for direct-response execution that’s measured, iterative, and built to scale—where creative performance matters just as much as great design. You’ll work closely with senior marketers and strategists to produce winning ad creative and landing-page assets that drive measurable results, while knowing your work supports causes that matter.
The Role
We’re hiring a senior hybrid creative: someone who is first and foremost a strong video editor, but also highly capable in graphic design. This person will own end-to-end production of direct-response ad creative—turning concepts into polished, performance-ready videos and static assets across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels.
You should be comfortable moving fast, iterating based on performance feedback, and producing a high volume of variations without sacrificing quality.
This is a video-first role (~70% editing/motion, ~30% static design). Time zone: We operate on Los Angeles (Pacific Time). Mexico is typically 1–2 hours ahead, and we’re looking for strong weekday overlap with Pacific Time for collaboration and rapid iteration.
What You’ll Do
- Edit high-performing short-form direct-response video ads (15–60s) for paid social (Meta, TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Create and iterate on motion graphics, subtitles, hooks, transitions, and basic VFX as needed.
- Design static ad creative (feeds, story formats), thumbnails, and supporting campaign assets.
- Develop creative variations at scale (new hooks, new first 3 seconds, new CTAs, new offers, new formats).
- Build templates and systems that speed up production (AE/MOGRT, PSD templates, CapCut templates, etc.).
- Collaborate with performance marketers on briefs, concepts, and testing frameworks.
- Organize project files cleanly and maintain a consistent workflow (naming conventions, exports, versioning).
- Deliver final exports optimized for platform specs (aspect ratios, safe zones, file size/bitrate, captions).
- Implement feedback quickly and precisely, with reliable version control across iterations.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years experience in video editing and design (senior-level execution).
- Strong portfolio showcasing direct-response or performance creative (not just brand/film work).
- Expert-level experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
- After Effects (motion graphics, compositing, text animations)
- Premiere Pro (editing, pacing, audio, exports)
- Photoshop / Illustrator (static design, layouts, typography)
- Comfortable using CapCut (especially for fast iteration, trends, and templated outputs).
- Excellent sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and “what stops the scroll.”
- Strong typography and layout fundamentals for conversion-focused design.
- Strong audio fundamentals (dialogue cleanup, leveling, noise reduction, music/SFX balancing).
- Comfortable producing 9:16-first creative and adapting to 1:1 and 4:5 while respecting safe zones and captioning best practices.
- Able to take a rough brief and turn it into multiple strong options with minimal hand-holding.
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work in a fast-moving agency environment with multiple projects.
- Comfortable with rapid iteration cadence (including same-day/next-day revisions when needed).
Bonus Points
- Experience with sweepstakes/non-profit fundraising creative or eCommerce offer creative.
- Familiarity with performance concepts (hooks, angles, UGC patterns, thumb-stopping intros, offer framing).
- Experience creating UGC-style edits (cutdowns, overlays, captions, pattern interrupts).
Deliverables You’ll Commonly Produce
- 10–30+ video variations/week (mix of net-new and iterations).
- Note: A “variation” may include a new hook/intro, new CTA/end card, new captions/overlays, pacing re-cut, or a format adaptation.
- Static ad sets (multiple sizes, multiple copy/visual variations).
- Motion elements (titles, product callouts, overlays, animated badges).
- Creative testing batches (hook packs, angle packs, CTA packs).
Tools & Workflow
- Adobe CC (AE, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) — required
- CapCut — required
- Google Drive / Frame.io (or similar) for review + delivery
- Slack for communication (and a lightweight project management tool like Asana/Trello if needed)
