Senior Brand & Web Designer
— someone with strong design instincts, exceptional visual craft, and the ability to move fluidly between identity design and digital design systems. This is a role for a true designer’s designer: someone who understands that great work is not only beautiful, but purposeful, intuitive, and aligned with business outcomes.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a
Senior Brand & Web Designer
.

We’re looking for a highly capable and creatively mature designer with deep experience across both
brand identity design
and
custom website design
. This role is suited to a pure designer — not a developer, not a generalist marketer — but someone whose strength lies in crafting sophisticated visual identities and thoughtfully designed digital experiences from the ground up.

You’ll work across a mix of branding and website projects, taking ownership from early design exploration through to polished final execution. On the brand side, you’ll shape visual identities that are strategically aligned, creatively resolved, and systemised through strong brand guidelines. On the digital side, you’ll design custom websites from initial concepts and page design through to full desktop and mobile rollout, with a sharp eye for user experience, interaction, hierarchy, and responsiveness.

This role requires someone who is deeply fluent in Figma, highly detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in the discipline of design. We’re looking for a
student of design
— someone who understands the balance between visual expression, user-centred thinking, and commercial objectives. Someone who cares about the craft, understands the principles behind strong identity systems, and can translate brand thinking into elegant, high-performing web experiences.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in brand design and website design
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both high-end brand identity work and custom website design
  • At least 5 exceptional custom-designed websites that clearly show your design thinking, page system development, and visual execution
  • At least 2 full visual identity projects , including brand guideline documentation or brand systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma , including components, auto layout, prototyping, design systems, and responsive workflows
  • Proven experience designing custom websites from initial design concepts through to production-ready page designs for both desktop and mobile
  • Experience designing websites intended for development in platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify
  • A sophisticated understanding of layout, typography, composition, colour, spacing, hierarchy, and brand consistency
  • Strong knowledge of interactive design , digital behaviour, and the principles that make web experiences feel intuitive, engaging, and considered
  • The ability to create work that balances visual appeal, usability, brand integrity, and business objectives
  • A deep appreciation for the broader disciplines that underpin strong brand design, including visual systems, art direction, identity architecture, and design rationale
  • Confidence working independently, presenting design decisions clearly, and managing multiple projects with a high level of craft and accountability
