Position Overview

Ajaia is hiring a Senior AI-Native Designer to lead design execution across UX/UI, websites, brand systems, and client-facing materials. This role blends production speed with design quality and requires clear communication of technical AI concepts through polished visual outputs.

Every role at Ajaia is AI-forward. We expect candidates to use AI in daily workflows across research, ideation, drafting, design iteration, quality checks, and delivery acceleration. AI usage is a core execution requirement, not optional tooling.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design execution across product UX/UI, web pages, and brand-aligned client assets.
• Build decks, proposals, and visual communication materials for internal and client-facing use.
• Use AI daily to accelerate concepting, generate alternatives, and improve final output quality.
• Maintain design consistency across product, marketing, and client delivery surfaces.
• Mentor or review junior designers when needed and provide practical quality feedback.
• Collaborate with strategy, engineering, and growth teams to deliver fast and reliable outputs.

Job Requirements

• 1-5 years of professional experience in UX/UI, digital product design, brand design, or related roles.
• Portfolio required, showing strong UI, website, and business communication design work.
• Strong Figma proficiency and clean visual execution.
• AI-native workflow usage in day-to-day design work.
• Familiarity with Canva and modern collaborative design tooling.
• Preferred: front-end awareness (HTML/CSS or implementation collaboration experience).
• Strong communication and ability to work in fast-moving environments.

Schedule and Location

Remote role with broader location eligibility based on hiring and compliance requirements.

Eastern Time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, including holidays.

Technical Requirements

• Reliable wired internet connection (100 Mbps minimum).
• Computer/laptop: Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM minimum, 128GB free storage.
• Dual-screen setup preferred.
• Windows 10 or macOS (latest).
• 1080p webcam and microphone.
• Backup systems for power and internet outages.

Compensation and BenefitsCompensation

• Base salary (yearly): $7,000-10,000 (PHP 409,500-585,000)
• Performance bonus (yearly): $0-4,000 (PHP 0-234,000)
• Total cash compensation (yearly): $7,000-14,000 (PHP 409,500-819,000)
• Salary and total compensation depend on experience, portfolio strength, and demonstrated performance.
