ob Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Revit Designer specializing in fire protection systems to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate must be capable of producing fully coordinated, fabrication-ready drawings (LOD 400) and seamlessly integrating into an existing workflow with minimal supervision.
This role is fully remote and requires a strong understanding of off-site fabrication processes and detailed system design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce LOD 400 Revit models for fire protection systems
- Create fabrication-ready drawings that can be directly used by manufacturing/fabrication teams
Design and model:
- Sprinkler systems
- Hydrants
- Valves and associated components
Ensure all drawings are fully coordinated, dimensioned, and clash-free
Break down systems into fabrication components suitable for off-site assembly
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and constructability
Maintain consistency with company standards and existing workflows
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Revit Expertise
- Minimum 8–10 years of Revit experience
- Proven ability to produce high-level, fabrication-ready drawings
- Strong understanding of Revit families, detailing, and coordination
Industry Experience
Extensive experience in fire protection design, including:
- Sprinkler systems
- Hydrants
- Valves and related components
Experience working on large-scale projects
Exposure to Australian market or similar environments preferred
Familiarity with off-site fabrication workflows (modular / pre-assembled systems)
Technical Competence
- Ability to work at LOD 400 standard
- Capable of producing drawings that can be directly issued to fabrication shops
Strong knowledge of:
- System componentry
- Valving configurations
- Installation requirements
Understanding of fabrication vs on-site assembly processes
Other Requirements
- Ability to plug into existing workflows with minimal or no retraining
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-sufficient and capable of working remotely (WFH)
- Output-driven mindset with focus on quality deliverables
