Our client is a Singapore-based startup that develops a data and analytics platform designed to help companies grow through data-driven decision making. They empower businesses by transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1/ What you will design
Lead UX/UI for their core products:
- a governance + workspace management
- conversational creation of data products
- AI-assisted incident response
Build UI that visualizes:
- how agents reason and make decisions
- proposal diffs/merges and approval flows
- confidence scores, alternatives, and governance rules
2/ How you’ll build
- Create UX for multi-step human + AI interactions with high trust
- Use progressive disclosure for complex enterprise workflows
- Build real-time collaboration (timelines, approvals, incident handling)
- Move fast: concept → prototype → production UI in days
- Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, v0) to speed up design + implementation
- Own and evolve our design system (shadcn/ui, Radix, Tailwind)
- Implement real interactions: animations, error states, responsive layouts, accessibility
- Work closely with engineering and refine directly in code
3/ How you improve
- Instrument UX metrics (time-to-action, adoption, error recovery)
- Iterate weekly using telemetry + real user behavior
- Contribute to product direction, IA, and overall UX patterns
Technical Requirements
1/ Product & Interaction Design
- Strong portfolio showing complex workflows and interactive systems
- Experience with enterprise SaaS or data-heavy products
Skilled in:
- multi-step + conversational flows
- debugging + diff visualization, reasoning displays, error states
- progressive disclosure and clear UX writing
- information architecture for technical tools
2/ UI Engineering Skills
- Can modify and refine React components
- Strong in Tailwind, CSS layout (Grid/Flex), responsive design
- Can read React/TypeScript for feasibility checks
- Familiar with shadcn/ui, Radix, design tokens
- Can clean up and refine AI-generated UI code
3/ Design Systems
- Experienced in building/maintaining systems + component libraries
Strong in:
- tokens, accessibility, component structure
- complex patterns (forms, lists, timelines, editors, diff views)
4/ AI-Native Workflow
- Uses AI tools daily (Claude, v0, Cursor, Galileo, Windsurf)
- Comfortable generating design variations with AI
- Can turn Figma specs → AI-generated code → production UI
- Understands UX for reasoning display, uncertainty, explanation UIs
- Bonus: experience designing for agentic systems
5/ Collaboration & Execution
- Works closely with engineers to ship without heavy PM overhead
- Makes decisions quickly, communicates clearly
- Data-driven: measures usage and improves based on telemetry
- Thrives in high-ownership, fast execution environments
