The Cabinet Saver is a veteran cabinet company based in Roanoke, Virginia with a physical showroom and Design Staff. We specialize in high-quality kitchen and bath cabinetry solutions for homeowners and contractors.

We’re looking for an experienced Remote Kitchen & Bath Designer to join us as a 1099 independent contractor. Pre-qualified leads are provided so you can focus on what you do best — creating great designs and helping customers.

About the Role

This is a fully remote 1099 position. You’ll create professional kitchen and bath designs using Design Flex (formerly 20-20 Design), conduct virtual consultations with customers, and guide them through the design and selection process.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid previous experience in kitchen and bath design — we’re seeking seasoned professionals who are already comfortable with the full design process
• Strong proficiency in Design Flex / 20-20 Design and your own active licensed copy of the software
• Good experience with CRM systems (or the ability to pick it up quickly)
• Excellent communication skills for working with customers virtually
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace for client calls

We prefer designers who can jump in comfortably with minimal onboarding but to ease the process and help build your pipeline, we offer a paid training period with salary + commission.

Important Notes

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, so you’ll handle your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses (including your Design Flex subscription). You must be legally eligible to work as an independent contractor in your state.
