Our financial services client is seeking a Production Designer and/or Junior Designer to support a growing Creative Services Team within Marketing. Key responsibilities include edits, preparing files for production, ensuring brand consistency, and managing assets, while collaborating with the team and implementing feedback. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
This is fully remote and should be around 40 hours a week ongoing.
Client is open to a Junior Designer or a midlevel Production Designer as long as you are happy supporting the marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Production and finalization: Prepare final, production-ready files for print and web by creating and updating templates, refining layouts, and ensuring all specifications are met.
- File preparation: Prepare files for handoff to developers, which may include cleaning up layers and ensuring consistency.
- Revision and feedback: Revise and edit designs based on feedback from senior designers and other team members.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers, developers, and other team members on projects from concept to launch.
- Quality control: Review proofs and ensure high-quality output, including color matching, image resolution, and file formats.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proficiency in design software incl. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
- Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and typography.
- Excellent attention to detail for production tasks like preparing files for print.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with working within established brand guidelines and design systems.
