Production Designer

Department: Creative / Marketing

Reports To: Creative Director / Design Lead / Vice President of Creative

About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll work closely with designers, art directors, and account teams to prepare, adapt, and finalize creative assets across a variety of media. Your precision, technical expertise, and ability to manage multiple deadlines will ensure our ideas translate seamlessly from concept to final production.

Responsibilities:

● Execute, adapt, and prepare final mechanicals for print, digital, OOH, broadcast, and social media campaigns.

● Ensure all files are production-ready—properly formatted, color-correct, proofed, and within specifications.

● Work collaboratively with designers and art directors to maintain creative intent while applying technical requirements.

● Resize, version, and optimize assets for different channels and platforms.

● Conduct quality control checks on typography, color, layout, and consistency across deliverables.

● Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.

● Stay current on production best practices, vendor specifications, and software updates.

● Troubleshoot and solve technical design/production challenges efficiently.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).

● 3–5+ years of experience in production design, preferably in an advertising or a creative agency.

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, Creatopy, BeeFree and Canva; working knowledge of email and banner design on other digital platforms a plus.

● Strong understanding of print production processes, file preparation, and color management.

● Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and brand systems.

● Experience preparing assets for digital, web, and social platforms.

● Extreme attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Bonus Points

● Motion design or video editing experience (After Effects, Premiere)

● Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.

● Experience working with developers, printers, and production partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
